Ruth Elizabeth Williams, age 80, an Atoka, OK resident. She was born on Friday, October 6, 1944, to Enoch Kinzy and Cora Lee Bell (Skinner) Parsons, at Yuma, AZ. Ruth passed away on Thursday, November 28, 2024 at her home in Atoka, OK. She graduated High School at Brawley, California where she graduated with the Class of 1961. Ruth was a Veteran's Service Officer for the DAV where she retired in June of 1995. Ruth proudly served her country in The United States Army and fought in the Vietnam War. She married Wilburn Ray Williams on Saturday, October 4th, 1969 at Howe, Texas. They enjoyed 25 years of marriage together before his passing on May 27, 1995. Ruth was of a Non-Denominational Faith. She loved to read and watch western books and movies.
Ruth is survived by her sister, Donna Nelson and husband Arthur of Green Forest, AR; nephew, Leroy Daniels Jr. of OK; niece, Pamela Reynolds of McAlester, OK, Debbie Louise Peacock and husband Adam of Buffalo, MO; great niece, Angela Lovelace and husband Michael of Muskogee, OK, Mary Underwood of Dallas, TX, Kristen Dawn Ledbetter and husband Casey of Marble, AR; great nephew, Bobby Underwood of McAlester, OK, Jay Dee Singleton of Harrison, AR; great great niece, Breezy Todd of Muskogee, OK, Addlyn Ledbetter of Marble, AR; great great nephew, Shaide Todd of Muskogee, OK, Edmond Ledbetter of Marble, AR, Hesston Ledbetter of Marble, AR.
Ruth is preceded in death by her husband, Wilburn Ray Williams; parents, Enoch Kinzy and Cora Lee Bell (Skinner) Parsons; sister, Patricia Ann (Parsons) Daniels.
