Ruthie Lean Keeler, age 89, an Oklahoma City, OK resident. Ruthie Lean (Henderson) Keeler was born to Jude and Lillie (Cooksey) Henderson on August 28, 1933 in Atoka, OK. Ruthie passed away in her home in Oklahoma City, surrounded by her family, on Sunday, August 20, 2023. She attended Bethany and Bentley Public Schools and Atoka High School. Ruthie was a housewife and homemaker. She was married to Edward Keeler on February 23, 1950 at Atoka, OK. Ruthie was a faithful member of General Assembly and Church of the Firstborn. Ruthie was a homemaker, prayer warrior, midnight cookie baker, and could cook a full meal from freezer to table in 30 minutes. She loved her family fiercely and could always be counted on to pray for or sit with the sick. Ruthie spent her days reading her Bible, praising God, and praying for her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great, great grandchildren continuously. She touched countless lives and her absence will leave a giant void in the hearts of everyone who loved her.
Ruthie is survived by her son, Larry Keeler and wife Carla of Bentley, Ok; daughter, Margie Flores and husband Armando of Oklahoma City, OK; granddaughter, Melissa Manning & husband Jeff of Atoka, OK, Stormy Massicotte & husband Levi of Wapanucka; grandsons, Nathan Perez & wife Leslie of Tecumseh, OK, Trevor Keeler & Travis Keeler of Atoka, OK, Pablo Balbantin Jr. & wife Amanda of Elmore City, OK, Randy Flores & wife Dalena, Rodney Flores & wife Tosha, Tony Flores, Ryan Flores, all of Oklahoma City, Dustin Keeler and wife Tabatha of Calera, OK, Timothy Keeler and wife Holly of Bentley, OK; great-grandchildren, Destiny, Nathan Jr., Siarra, Paige, Jake, Logan, Emilee, Taytum, Ramiro Jr, Angelica, Alexandria, Victoria, Pablo III, Alejandra, Aliyah, Rodney Jr., Romeo, Tony Jr., Teryn, Ignacio, Tristen, Marcelo, Easton, Pemberley, Emmaly, Raina, Trenton, Elayna; great-great-grandchildren, Jayleigh, Jayden, Jayce, Oaklynn, Kamdyn, Braylee, Gina, Adrian, Luvlee, Parker (girl), and Parker (boy), brothers, Frank Henderson of Atoka, OK, Ted Henderson and wife Pat of Tushka, OK, Fred Henderson and wife Judy of Oklahoma City, OK; sister, Mary Jane Ables of Boggy Depot, OK; along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Julius and Lillie Bell (Cooksey) Henderson; husband, Edward Keeler; children, Gary Dwayne Keeler, Joyce Ann Balbantin; great-grandchildren, Liliana Lara; grandson-in-law, Ramiro Lara; grandchildren, Tanner Keeler, Leticia Lara; sisters, Esther Fincher and Artie Powell; brothers, Jim Henderson, Jerry Henderson, Perry Henderson, John Henderson, & Marvin Henderson.
