Obituary Sally L. Wafford-Parker, age 85, an Atoka, OK resident, was born on Saturday, August 07, 1926, to Melton and Gertrude (Smith) Taylor, at Wilson Community, OK. Sally passed away on Friday, April 20, 2012 at the Baylor Specialty Hospital Dallas, TX. She attended the Wilson Community School and played Basketball. Sally was a Homemaker and Housewife, she worked several years at the Blue Bell Factory in Coalgate. She married Nem Wafford, on June 15, 1940, he preceded her in death on April 19, 1973. Sally later married Larry Parker. She Was a member of Church Of God. Sally loved music, playing dominoes, and visiting with family and friends. Sally is survived by her children, Betty Cosgrove and Keith of Coalgate, OK., Bill Wafford of Wapanucka, OK., Nem Dewayne Wafford of Wapanucka, OK.; grandchildren, Sondi Taylor and husband Kevin of Wichita, KS., Chris Carter and husband Chad of Durant, OK., Kenny Pitts of Clarksville, AR., Michael Wafford and wife Marty of Clarita, OK., Sabrina Vaughn and husband Adam of Coalgate, OK.; 13 great grandchildren and 8 great great grandchildren; very good friend, Joyce Adams of Atoka, OK.; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and dear friends.
