Samuel Wayne McGinty, age 67, a Lane, OK resident, was born on Tuesday, September 8, 1953, to Samuel and Betty Jo (McClain) McGinty, at Salem, OR. Samuel passed away on Monday, December 21, 2020 at Atoka, OK. He graduated from Atoka High School. Samuel was a Canine Operations Sergeant for the Mack Alford Correctional Center. Samuel proudly served his country in the Army for 20 years and also served in the Air Force. Samuel loved to spend time outdoors, shooting guns and hunting. He also enjoyed motorcycles and he always had a soft place in heart for all animals. Samuel is survived by his daughter, Robin McGinty of Lane, OK; son, Sam McGinty and wife Joanna of Harker Heights, TX; granddaughter, Lanah McGinty of Harker Heights, TX; brother, Freddy McGinty of Atoka, OK; nephew, Cody McGinty and Family of Atoka, OK; niece, Kelly Perez and Family of Colbert, OK; mother of his children, Susan Clevenger of Leander, TX; along with many other loved ones. Samuel was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel and Betty Jo (McClain) McGinty; nephew, Clinton McGinty; brother, Kenneth McGinty
