Scottie Lee (McCullough) Grimes, age 72, a longtime Atoka, OK resident, was born on Friday, May 3, 1946, to Granville "Chubby" and Evelyn Esther (Troxell) McCullough, at Clarksville, TX. Scottie passed away on Sunday, August 19, 2018 in her home in Atoka, OK, in the arms of her daughter, Lavada Davis. She attended Clarksville Public School and graduated from Samuel High School in Dallas, TX.  Scottie was a mom and grandmother. She married Jerry Grimes on August 23, 1964 at Rockwall, TX. He preceded her in death on June 4, 2016. They shared 52 years together. Scottie was of the methodist faith. She enjoyed reading, traveling and spending time with her dog Angel, her grandson Matthew Alan Davis and the rest of her family.

Scottie is survived by her children, Cindy Reeves and husband Mark, Robert Grimes and wife Anna,  Lavada Davis and husband Alan; grandchildren, Greg Reeves, Christopher Reeves, Johnathan  Scott Randall, Kadence Ocean Randall, Matthew Alan Davis; great grandchildren, many and one on the way; along with other relatives and many dear and loved friends.

Scottie is preceded in death by her father, Chubby McCullough; mother, Evelyn Esther Garner; husband,  Jerry Grimes.
