Shane Ryan Sheffield, age 35, a Sherman, TX resident, was raised in Harmony, OK and Celina, TX and lived in Tulsa, OK at one time. He was born on Thursday, July 21, 1988, to Del Shawn and Clara Renee (Gipson) Sheffield, at Ada, OK. Shane passed away on Wednesday, May 1, 2024 at Denison, TX. He attended Harmony and Pottsboro Grade Schools, graduated from Celina High School and went on to attend Tulsa Welding School and Grayson County Junior College.  Shane was a welder and fabricator for VITZ Metals in Anna, TX. He was a certified personal trainer in Plano, TX. He was a Christian and believer, was non denominational. Shane attended Day Spring Church in Atoka, OK. He was big in body building, loved doing metal art in welding, making signs and etc. Shane loved taking his kids fishing and hunting like he did with his dad and granddad.
Shane is survived by his children, Aven Donavthan, Addelyn Ryan Sheffield of Sherman, TX, Zane Griffin Sheffield of Sherman, TX, mother, Clara Renee (Gipson) Sheffield of Madill, OK; sisters, Deidre Clark and husband Joe of  Oklahoma, Kathleen Nicole Badgett and husband Scott of  Texas, Jessica Claire Lane and husband Delbert "Robbie" of  Oklahoma, grandmother, Carolyn Beth Roberts of Atoka, OK; nieces and nephews, Austin Badgett, Keira Badgett, Gabriel Clark, Noah Lane, Elijah Lane, Axel Clark, Charlotte "Charlie" Clark, Ezra Lane; aunts, Shana Sheffield of Lane, OK, Staci Pettigrew and husband Gary of Atoka, Ok, Crystal Lee and husband Frank of Atoka, OK, Anita Zurline and husband Mark of Atoka, OK, Leann Phillips of Lane, Ramona Turney and husband Tony of McAlester, OK; uncles, Carter Gipson and wife Theresa of Noble, OK, Darrell Gipson and wife Donna of Byng, OK, Jon Gipson and wife Laura of Ada, OK; special cousin, Kacey Chittum; along with numerous other cousins, great aunts, great uncles, other relatives and many dear and loved friends.
Shane was preceded in death by his father, Del Shawn Sheffield; grandparents, Jesse Delbert Sheffield, Leonard "Chief" Gipson, Eula Gipson; uncle, Kenneth Gipson; cousins, Zachary Pettigrew, Jacob Gardner.
