Shannon Marie Billy, age 48, a lifelong Atoka, OK resident, was born on Thursday, June 8, 1972, to Winston and Cleta Faye (Johnson) Billy, at Talihina, OK. Shannon passed away on Thursday, April 1, 2021 at her home in Atoka, OK. She graduated from Tushka High School in 1990 as Valedictorian and went on to attend Oklahoma University. Shannon was a clerk at the Choctaw Travel Plaza in Stringtown, OK. She was a member of the Choctaw Nation. Shannon enjoyed playing phone games, watching mysteries, ghost shows and loved watching Grey's Anatomy.
Shannon is survived by her mother, Cleta Billy of Atoka, OK; children, Jayson Lopez of Atoka, OK, Sawyer Lopez of Atoka, OK, Jerai Billy of Atoka, OK, Carmela Lopez of Atoka, OK, Mareli Lopez of Atoka, OK; grandson, Joseph Lopez of Atoka, OK; siblings, James Billy of Durant, OK, K'Anna Billy of Atoka, OK, Samuel Billy of Atoka, OK; along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear and loved friends.
Shannon was preceded in death by her father, Winston Billy; grandparents, Steven and Rebecca Billy, E.J. and Marie Johnson.
