Obituary Sharon Kay (James) Cometti, age 66, a Coal County resident, was born November 26, 1946 to Kelly and Ida (Barnes) James in McAlester, OK. She passed away on July 1, 2013 in Coalgate, OK. Sharon was a waitress and a housewife. She loved to fish, sew, do crafts, listen to music, drive around looking at animals, outdoors, shuffleboard, watching birds, gardening, loved her family, loved being around people, loved watching the Boston Celtics play basketball. Sharon attended and graduated from Pittsburg High School. Sharon is survived by her husband, David Cometti of Coalgate, Ok.; daughter, Kelly Smith and husband, Gordon of Coalgate, OK.; pet, Foxy; in-laws, Barbara and Perry Hefley, Frank and Virginia Cometti, Larry and Bonnie Cometti, Debbie and Richie Childers, Charles and Sybel Cometti; special aunt, Louise James; cousins, Paul James, Larry James and wife, Penny, Jake Humphrys, Jean Humphrys; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
