Shelia Denise Cochran, age 60, an Ada, OK resident for the past 2 year, formerly a life long Lane resident, She was born on Wednesday, August 11, 1953, to Leon and Udell (Hammond) Jones, at Durant, OK. Shelia passed away on Saturday, January 18, 2014 at Oklahoma City, OK. She attended school in Lane and Atoka, then Ahtens Jr. College in Texas. Shelia was the Ada Elks Lodge Manager, she worked as the cook at Lane Public School for several years. Shelia owned and operated 3 Cafes at Lane, Farris, and Canton, TX. She also drove a truck for Celadon Trucking. Shelia was baptized at the Double Springs Baptist Church, she was a member of the Lane Baptist Church. Shelia was a longtime member and exalted ruler of the Atoka Elks Lodge she transferred her membership to the Ada Elks Lodge where she was the manager. She loved to play golf, watching all sports, cooking, socializing, and pulling jokes on people. Shelia is survived by her father, Leon Jones of Lane, OK.; dear friend and companion, Mike Pippenger of Ada, OK.; children, Craig Jones and wife Tori of Lane, OK., Subrena Bell and husband DeWayne of Antlers, OK., Tabitha Nave and husband Kevin of Lane, OK.; step-children, Jeremy Pippenger and wife Jennifer of Ada, OK., Matthew Pippenger and wife Megan of Ada, OK.; grandchildren, Brook Jones, Spur Jones, RD Pruett, Jesse Honeycutt, Derek Honeycutt, Mikah Honeycutt, and Josie Jones of Lane, OK., Rikki and Rider Bell of Antlers, OK., Jaken and Jaxen Pippenger, of Ada, OK.; great grandchildren, Hadlee Pruett; siblings, Chris Benjamin of Farris, OK., Rickey Jones and wife Tracy of Lane, OK., Terry Jones and Joyce of Lane, OK., Debbie Reece and husband Terry of Caddo, OK., Nancy Hill and Eddie of Atoka, OK.; aunts, Roburtta Green of Lane, OK., Raylene Hammond of Lane, OK., Linda Hammond of McAlester, OK., Sandy Hammond of Atoka, OK.; along with many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
