OBITUARY

Sheri Lee (Sego) Hines Nakanashi, a longtime Atoka, OK resident, was born in Mesa, AZ on July 16, 1962 to Marvin Lloyd Sego and Mary Elizabeth (Newton) Sego. She passed away on September 24, 2025 in her home in Atoka, OK. She attended junior high at MWC and Midwest City High School, Midwest City, OK where she was President of VICA and graduated in May 1980. Sheri married Mark F. Hines and made their home in Shawnee, OK. She was a mother and housewife. Sheri enjoyed bowling and helping her elderly neighbor and was of the Baptist faith. She later married Mick Nakanashi in 2010 and resided in Atoka, OK. She loved her pets and working in her yard.

Sheri is survived by her husband, Mick Nakanashi of the home in Atoka, OK; sons, Mark Hines Jr. and wife Ashley of North Carolina; Dustin Hines and wife Shawna of Tulsa, OK, Brandon Hines and wife Vanessa of Tulsa, OK; sisters, Debbie Wilson and husband Cecil of Atoka, OK, Coleen Hogan of Atoka, OK, Lloydell Miller and husband Brett of Tulsa, OK, Dawn Carter and husband of Hixson, TN; 14 grandchildren, Grayson Imhoff, William Hines, Tanner Hines, Ethan McCammon, Rylan Hines, Bentley Roller Hines, Emelia Hines, Elizabeth Hines, Evelynn Hines, Elaina Hines, Nadia Hines, Aiden Hines, Scotlynn Hines, Kenseth Hines; nieces and nephews, Amie Wilson Pate and husband John of Atoka, OK, Kevin Wilson and wife Ashley of Atoka, OK, Melva Mitchel Green and husband Chris of Florida, Kalem Fuller and wife Joyce of Atoka, OK, Laura Ritchie and husband Shane of Atoka, OK, Leslie Eaves and husband Spike of Lane, OK, Benjamin Hogan of Atoka, OK, Marshell Hogan and wife Stevie of Atoka, OK, Jackson Hogan of Okmulgee, OK, Chad Miller and wife Annie of Tulsa, OK, Lauren Miller of Tulsa, OK; along with other relatives and many dear and loved friends.

Sheri was preceded in death by her parents, Marvin Lloyd Sego and Mary Sego Davenport; step-father, Loyd Davenport; nephew, Bradley Miller.
