Sherrie Denise (Ray) Pebworth, age 58, a Coalgate resident. She was born on April 28, 1963, to John G. and Elsie Maxine (White) Brannon Ray, at Atoka, OK. Sherrie passed away on November 29, 2021 at Coalgate, OK. She graduated from Atoka High School & Kiamichi AVTS Hugo, Oklahoma. Sherrie practiced as a Licensed Practical Nurse for 37 years. She owned & operated a daycare for several years & helped maintain the farm & cattle at their home at Salt Creek. She married Wesley "Ray" Pebworth at Lane, Oklahoma on June 21, 1991. Together they had three children, Wesley Lloyd, Cody Ray & Racheal Denise. Sherrie was of the Baptist Faith. She enjoyed reading, gardening, beading & crafting. Her favorite times were spent playing with her babies.
