Sherry Ann Callicoat, age 69, an Atoka, OK resident since 2003, formerly of Stockton, CA, was born on Thursday, November 20, 1952, to Jack Aaron and Pearl Anna (Sigler) McFeeters, at French Camp, CA. Sherry passed away on Monday, February 21, 2022 at Durant, OK. She graduated from Linden High School in Linden, CA in 1971. She then went on to Beauty College in California. Sherry was a cosmetologist, was administrator and activities director in nursing homes, and worked summers at the Del Monte Cannery. She married Billy D. Callicoat on Saturday, April 28th, 1973 at Stockton, CA. They celebrated 48 years of marriage before her passing. Sherry was a member of Atoka Freewill Baptist Church, was an organizer of the Red Hat Ladies Society in Atoka, served as Secretary of the Bentley Community Center, enjoyed singing and playing the piano, sewing and crocheting, doing flower arrangements, making wedding cakes, and most of all, loved spoiling her grandchildren.
Sherry was survived by her husband, Billy Don Callicoat of the home in Atoka, OK; children, Jennifer Fuertes and husband Juan Carlos of Pittsburg, PA, Billy Don Callicoat Jr. and wife Cambry of Atoka, OK; father, Jack McFeeters and wife Geneva of Boggy Depot, OK; mother, Pearl Ann Trump of Decator, IL; grandchildren, Dakota Everson, Cheyenne Bevell and husband Jeffery, Alex Brendanawicz, Austin Berndt, Noah Callicoat, Lilly Callicoat, Maizy Callicoat; sister, Rochelle Frazier and husband Bob of Decatur, IL; brothers, Jack McFeeters Jr. and wife Vivian of Boggy Depot, OK, Rick McFeeters and wife Kim of Boggy Depot, OK, Kenneth McFeeters and wife Trisha of Durant, OK; 2 great grandchildren, Skylar and Marley Bevel; along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear and loved friends.
Sherry was preceded in death by her son, Jacob Aaron Callicoat; brother, James McFeeters; in laws, William Eugene and Rosie Callicoat; step father, Ralph Trump.
