Sherry Arlene Ross, age 66, a Caney, OK resident for the last 40 plus years. She was born on Monday, May 27, 1957, to Ralph Nelson and Shirley Joyce (Perry) Speers, at Oakland, CA. Sherry passed away on Wednesday, November 15, 2023 at Durant, OK.  She attended school in Oakland, California and graduated from Caney High School. Sherry was a housewife and homemaker. She worked at Diaper Jeans Sewing Factory, Ken's Pizza in Durant, and Roberson Ham in Caddo.  She married Bruce Allen Ross Sr. on Saturday, April 23rd, 1977 at Hillcrest Baptist Church. They enjoyed 15 years of marriage together before his passing in 1992.  Sherry was of the Baptist faith and loved being a mother to her children and their friends. She loved her fur babies, Sandy and Sam, and her feline babies, Nermal and Boot. Sherry enjoyed reading, watching wrestling, and decorating for Christmas and Halloween.
Sherry is survived by her sons, Bruce Allen Ross II of Caney, OK,  Benjaman Alexander Ross and wife Amanda of Caddo, OK; partner, John Herman of the home in Caney, OK; brother, Daniel Speers and wife Carol of Caddo, OK; sister, Leann Fincher of Caney/Caddo, OK; brothers-in-law, Gary Ross of Reno, NV, Mike Ross of Chilcoot, CA; sisters-in-law, Cindy Ross of Baltimore, MA, Billie Mitchell of Elmore City, OK; uncle, John Roy Speers and wife Kathy of Caney, OK; along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Ula Isabella (Washburn) Speers; husband, Bruce Allen Ross Sr.;
brothers-in-law, Doyle Fincher, George Ross; nephews, Bubba Fincher, Adam Fincher, parents-in-law, George and Barzella Ross.
