Shirley Roeanne (Head) Allen, age 63, a longtime Caney, OK resident, was born on Friday, September 20, 1957, to Melvin Floyd and Evie Adel (Smith) Head, at Applegate, CA. Shirley passed away on Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at Durant, OK. She attended Caney High School. Shirley was a CNA for the nursing homes in Atoka and Caddo, Oklahoma.
She married Kenneth Allen on August 12, 1977 at Atoka, OK. Shirley was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed growing plants, flowers, arrowhead hunting and playing with her grandchildren.
Shirley is survived by her daughters, Heather Hunter and husband Cody of Caney, OK, Amanda Allen of Tushka, OK, Teresa Allen and fiancé Charlie White of Tushka, OK; grandchildren, Baylee Craig, Braxton Turner, Tyler Littleton, Jayden Littleton, Rielynn Turner, Hardy Lucus, Kaydance White, Brynleigh White; sister, Janice Stiles of Lane, OK; aunt, Lenora McBride of Caney, OK; sister in law, Loretta Head of Caney, OK; best friend, Nona Henry of Atoka, OK; along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear and loved friends.
Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, Melvin Floyd and Evie Adel (Smith) Head; siblings, Patsey Norris, Doyle Brown, Jr. Head, Carrol Head, Billy Head, Larry Head, Lloyd Head; aunts, uncles, other relatives.
