Shirley Ann (Zentmyer) Caldwell, age 80, a Drumright, OK resident, formerly of Atoka, Krebs, Broken Arrow, Cleveland, and Hopkinsville, KY for the past 5 years, was born on Saturday, August 7, 1937, to Clifton Bryant and Edith Marie (East) Zentmyer, at Crofton, KY. Shirley passed away on Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at Drumright, OK. She graduated High School from Crofton, KY. Shirley was an accountant for Farm Credit Services where she retired.
She married Ezra E. Caldwell on Friday, December 4th, 1964 at Rocky Mount, NC. They had 27 years together before his death in 1991. Shirley was a member of Blackburn Baptist Church, a life member of DAV Auxiliary and former state Chaplin.
Shirley is survived by her children, Edith Ann Isbell and husband Timothy of Terlton, OK, Mary Elizabeth Johnson of Colorado Springs, CO; grandchildren, Staci Mercado and husband Adam of Weatherford, TX, Allison Mobbs of Terlton, OK, Brayden Thomasson of Roundrock, TX, Gavin Owens of Colorado Springs, CO, Cheyenne Owens of Colorado Springs, CO; great grandson, Gage Mercado of Weatherford, TX; brother, William Bryant Zentmyer and wife Rosanne of Clarksville, TN; sister, Hattie Lavonne Milby and husband Dan of Hopkinsville, KY; along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear and loved friends.
Shirley is preceded in death by her parents, Clifton Bryant and Edith Marie (East) Zentmyer; husband, Ezra Caldwell.
