In Loving Memory of Shirley Geraldine Coppo
May 4, 1959 – June 24, 2026
With broken hearts, we announce the passing of our mother, Shirley Coppo (Allen), who was called to her eternal home in heaven on June 24, 2026, at the age of 67.
Born on May 4, 1959, in Oklahoma City, OK, Shirley grew up in Coalgate, OK, working on her family's ranch. Following her graduation from Coalgate High School in May 1977, she proudly served her country for 10 years as a Staff Sergeant in the United States Air Force during the Cold War, supporting NATO in Germany and Belgium. After her service, Shirley settled with her family in Fort Worth, TX, working for many years as a clerk and dispatcher for BNSF Railroad.
Shirley was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend whose kindness and generosity touched countless lives. She had a way of making everyone feel welcomed and loved. If you knew Shirley, you knew she never met a stranger and loved to visit and laugh with her friends and family. Shirley's hobbies included fishing, board games, reading, and spending time outside, but her greatest joy came from being with her children, grandchildren, and loved ones.
Shirley is survived by her two daughters, Gina Coppo and Michele Clanton, and three grandsons, Maverick, Matthew, and Nikolasz.
"Though you are gone, the love you gave us remains, a beautiful reminder of your presence in our lives."
