Shirley Ann Richard, age 79, a longtime resident of Atoka, OK  for 60 years, formerly lived in Texas and California.
BORN: She was born on Thursday, September 13, 1945, to Sherman and Willie Evelyn (Harris) Hendricks, at McKinney, TX. Shirley passed away on Monday, March 3, 2025 at Denison, TX. She graduated High School in Oklahoma City and went on to attend Kiamichi Technology Center where she studied computer programming. Shirley was a housewife and homemaker. She married Jerry Richard on Friday, March 5th, 1965 at Oklahoma City, OK. They celebrated almost 60 together before her passing. Shirley was a lifelong non denominational christian. She was a Cub Scout mom leader, softball coach for the summer league, loved being with her grandchildren and great grandchildren, enjoyed  fishing, and hunting (when she was able to), watching for tornadoes, working puzzles, watching tv, especially News Max.
Shirley is survived by her husband, Jerry Richard of the home in Atoka, OK; children, Bryan Richard and wife Brandy of Atoka, OK, Ranay Moore and husband Michael of Atoka, OK; grandchildren, Logan Moore and wife Haley of Tushka, OK, Dillon Moore of Atoka, OK, Brady Moore and fiancé Emily Coffman of Atoka, OK, Spencer Moore of Atoka, OK, Parker Moore of Atoka, OK, Hannah Moore of Atoka, OK, Jenna Miller and husband Jason of Atoka, OK, Samuel Richard of Ardmore, OK, Jodi Richard of Melissa, TX; great grandchildren, Grayson Baker, Carson Moore, Landon Moore, Layland Richard, Serenity Miller; along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear and loved friends.
Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, Sherman and Willie Evelyn (Harris) Hendricks; sisters, Charlene Clairent, Dorothy Johnson, Dolphus Randall, Louise Looper, Joyce Looper; brothers, Carl Hendricks, Delbert Hendricks.
