Synthia Mae (Thompson) Wills-Bowen, age 89, an Atoka, OK resident, was born on Monday, April 6, 1931, to Joe and Jewel (Barnhill) Thompson, in Atoka County, OK. Synthia passed away on Thursday, February 25, 2021 at Atoka, OK. She graduated from Lime Stone Gap High School. Synthia was a headstart teacher in Kiowa for many years. She married and was preceded in death by both,  Wiley Wills and Ernest Bowen. Synthia was a member of Stringtown Baptist Church. She loved sewing, doing word puzzles, spending time with family and watching her grandchildren play basketball.

Synthia is suvived by her daughter, Gayle Marley and husband Jim of Stringtown, OK; son, Roger Wills of Nashville, TN; grandchildren, Joe Wills and wife Brandy of Kiowa, OK, Stacy Wills-Decker of Oklahoma City, OK, Keith Quaid and wife Janet of Kiowa, OK, Kevin Quaid and wife Kristi of Round Rock, TX, Kyle Quaid of McAlester, OK, Maria Rose of Tulsa, OK, Jamy Marley of Stringtown, OK, Amy Stevens of Grand Prairie, TX; great grandchildren, Jadyn Mitchell and husband Sam, Jacy Wills, Jaxon Wills, Jaylee Wills, Sydney Wills, William Decker, Rylynn Wills, Lauren Unwin and husband Ray, Max Quaid, Madilyn Quaid, Kyleigh Quaid, Walker Wilson, Zain Wilson, Jacob Marley, Jon Marley, Josh Marley; great great grandchildren, Raelynn Unwin, Maren Mitchell; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends.

Preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Jewel (Barnhill) Thompson; husbands, Wiley Wills, Ernest Bowen; siblings, Lesley Thompson, Eugene Thompson, Roy Thompson
