Tamra Kay Sanders, age 80, a lifelong Atoka, OK resident, was born on Friday, November 21, 1941, to Fred and Jewel (Jones) Glover, at Atoka, OK. Tamra passed away on Sunday, May 15, 2022 at Durant, OK. She graduated High School.
Tamra was a seamstress waitress, and nursing home activities director. She enjoyed growing flowers and houseplants, working jigsaw and crossword puzzles, and sewing for her family. Tamra was an avid reader, in fact she had library cards in over eight Oklahoma counties and three in Texas.
Tamra is survived by her daughters, Teresa Workman and husband Dale from Boggy Depot, OK, Kim Grisham and husband Roy from Watauga, TX; grandchildren, Dwain Workman and wife Nicole from Boggy, Depot, OK, Amber Workman and Katie Thorne of Philadelphia, PA, Brittany Gambill and husband Eric of Watauga, TX, Andrew Grisham from Watauga, TX, Ashley Justus from Oklahoma City, OK, Lacey Bullock from Oklahoma City, OK, BJ Justus from Atoka, OK, Emily Sanders from Atoka, OK; brother, Dell "Dizzy" Glover of Avon, CT; along with several great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear and loved friends.
Tamra was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Jewel Glover; siblings, Ray Glover, Boyd Glover, John Glover, Wanda Selby, Freddie June Moore.
