Tania Marie Sorrells-Cord, age 42, an Atoka, OK resident, was born on Monday, June 21, 1971, to Jack and Wilma Jean (Rains) Sorrells, at Oklahoma City, OK. Tania passed away on Wednesday, October 30, 2013 at Atoka, OK. She graduated from Atoka High School in 1990, then from Tulsa Community College. Tania was a manager at Sam's Club for 17 years and was currently working as an office manager. She married Ty Cord on October 26, 2003, at the Breezes Resort in Jamaica. Tania was a member of Bentley Baptist Church. She loved pinterest, cooking, yard work, doing for others, spending time with family and friends and spoiling her nieces and nephews. Tania is survived by her husband, Ty Cord of the home in Bentley, OK.; parents, Jack and Wilma Jean (Rains) Sorrells of Bentley, OK.; siblings, Jacquie Tipton and husband Danny of Montrose, MI., Brent Sorrells and wife Tara of Amboy, IL., Tammy Gregory and husband Alan of Phoenix, AZ., Dawn Waling and husband Todd of Avondale, AZ., Bob Cord and wife Dee of Peoria, AZ., Denise Oztekin and husband Kevin of Peoria, AZ., Dennis Karrick of Phoenix, AZ.; nephews and nieces, Jackson and Broc Sorrells of Amboy, IL., Danielle and Dominique Tipton of Montrose, MI.; father-in-law, Robert Cord and wife June of Gilbert, AZ.; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and dearly loved friends.
