NAME: Teddy Joe Alford, age 74, a longtime Caney, OK resident.

BORN: He was born on Monday, October 5, 1942, to James Doyle and Lavona (Smith) Alford, at Blackjack, OK.

PASSED AWAY: Teddy passed away on Sunday, April 30, 2017 at Durant, OK.

AGE: 74 years, 6 months and 25 days.

EDUCATION: He graduated from Garland High School and went on to receive a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice from Sam Houston State University.

OCCUPATION: Teddy was an agent for ATF before his retirement. He was also a rancher.

MARRIED: He married Sherlyn Diane (Attebery) on Friday, September 7th, 1962 at Garland, TX. They has 30 wonderful years together before her passing in 1992.

CHURCH AFFILIATION, HOBBIES AND OTHER AFFILIATIONS: Teddy was a member of the Garland Masonic Lodge #441 for 50 years, a member of Scottish Rite Temple in Dallas, TX. He enjoyed ranching, taking care of horses and cattle and most of all spending time with his family.
