Teela Ann Bottorff, age 41, of Atoka, OK. Teela spent most of her life in Bisbee, AZ, before moving to Atoka with her family, where she lived for the remainder of her life. She was born on Wednesday, January 4, 1984, to Timothy Paul and Christina Marie (Marquez) Bottorff, at Ventura, CA.Teela passed away on Monday, July 21, 2025 at Atoka, OK. She attended Greenway Grade School in Arizona and Alfredia High School in McNeil, Arizona. Teela was a dedicated employee of the Choctaw Nation Travel Plaza, where she worked with pride and commitment from 2017 until her passing. Outside of work, she found her greatest joy in being a mother. Teela was the proud and loving mom of five children, and when she wasn't working, she was fully immersed in raising and loving them. She enjoyed singing, deep cleaning, even though her kids would mess it up, working, didn't mind taking a good nap, and talking and visiting with her customers at work. Teela will be remembered for her fierce love for her family, her strong work ethic, and the warmth, loyalty, and infectious laughter that filled every room she entered. Her sense of humor, quick wit, and ability to bring light to even the darkest days made her unforgettable.
Teela is survived by her children, William Teeters Jr. of Wilcox, AZ, Alexsandro Gibbons of Atoka, OK, John Gibbons of Atoka, OK, Acelyn Bottorff of Atoka, OK, Eric Hopson Jr. of Atoka, OK; mother, Christina Busby of Atoka, OK; bonus father, Alton Busby of Atoka, OK; brothers, Timothy  Bottorff and wife Leeann, Thomas Busby; sister, Tamara Camp and husband Chiefton; nieces, Alyssiah Camp, Ariana Camp, Gwynna Bottorff; nephews, Creedence Camp, Chiefton Camp, Liam Bottorff, Rhys Bottorff; along with many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Teela was preceded in death by her son, John David Gibbons Jr.; father, Timothy Paul Bottorff; grandparents, Charlie Marquez and Dolores Marquez.
