Telena "Tina" Gay Sanders, age 66, a lifelong Atoka, OK resident. She was born on Wednesday, January 11, 1956, to Charles Irvin II and Audrey Virginia (Moore) Sanders, at Coalgate, OK. Tina passed away on Friday, October 7, 2022 at Durant, OK. She attended Atoka High School and graduated with the class of 1974. Tina was a homemaker, cosmetologist, and dispatcher at the sheriff's office. Tina was a member of the Church of the First Born. She enjoyed working in her gardens, tending to her flowers, cooking, cleaning house, taking care of her dogs, and spending time with her family, especially her grand babies.
Tina is survived by her daughter, Stacey Webster of Atoka, OK; son, Steve Don Murray of Atoka, OK; grandchildren, Kelsea Dawn Cole and husband Colton of Caney, OK, Waylon Ross Webster and wife Josie of Atoka, OK, Caleb Eliy Murray of McAlester, OK, JD Webster of Atoka, OK; great grandchildren, Remmington Danyell, Kelton James Cole; siblings, Debbie Doern and husband John of Kingston, OK, Buddy Sanders and wife Annis Atoka, OK, Paula Jack and husband Kenny of Stringtown, OK, Cloye Don Sanders Sr. and wife Tammie of Lane, OK; uncle, Lacey Moore and wife Susie of Stringtgown, OK; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Tina is preceded in death by her parents, Charles Irvin and Audrey Virginia (Moore) Sanders; father of her children, Lonnie Murray; grandson, Jacob Murray; nephew, Dyllan Sanders.
