OBITUARY

Teresa Paulette Silvers, age 49 years, 5 months and 1 day, an Atoka resident nearly all her life. Teresa passed away on February 12, 2018 at Denton, TX. She was born on Wednesday, September 11, 1968 to Paul and Ginger (Burkhalter) Silvers at Atoka Hospital, Atoka, OK. Teresa attended Lane Elementary School and graduated from Atoka High School on May 16, 1986. She then went on to attend SOSU. She married Hector Lopez on November 29, 1986. Teresa worked as a telemarketer for many years and later was an Assistant Home Depot Manager. Teresa enjoyed camping and fishing, yard work, and spending time with family. She really enjoyed holidays and was a computer and cell phone whiz which she enjoyed. She was a member of the Ironstob Pentecostal Holiness Church in Lane, OK.

Teresa is survived by her special friend and partner, Lisa Taylor of the home in Mt. Pleasant, TX; parents, Paul and Ginger Silvers of Lane, OK; sister, Crystie Rhodes and Tommy Campbell of Lane, OK; nephew, Blake Keeton and wife Abigail of Tacoma, WA; niece, AC Rhodes; special niece friend, Siarrah Cook of Lane, OK; along with other relatives and many dear and loved friends.

Teresa is preceded in death by her grandparents, Wilburn and Thelma Burkhalter, Earl and Myrtle Silvers; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
