Terry Don Blackburn, age 71, was raised in the Tipton and Altus area and was a Wapanucka, OK resident for the past 25 years. He was born on Monday, April 14, 1952, to Ofearl and Nora Louise (Wolfe) Blackburn, at Tipton, OK. Terry passed away on Thursday, July 13, 2023 at Wapanucka, OK. He graduated from Altus High School and went on to attend American Indian Arts College at Santa Fe, NM where he received an Associate's Degree in Commercial Art. Terry was a carpenter and worked in construction building houses. He married Lisa Ann (Taylor) on Thursday, August 13th, 1981 at Ft. Worth, TX. They celebrated 41 years of marriage before his passing.  Terry was a christian and of the Pentecostal faith. He was a member of Chickasaw Nation. He loved collecting comic books, painting and drawing, and loved his dogs.
Terry is survived by his wife, Lisa Ann Blackburn of the home in Wapanucka, OK; children, Summer Littlewolfe Ferry and husband Derik of Ada, OK, Abraham Greywolfe Blackburn and wife Mary of Stillwater, OK; grandchildren, Owen Matthew Blackurn, Phoebe Grey Blackburn; sister, Donna Kay Gagnon and husband Glenn of Altus, OK; brother, Rick Blackburn of Altus, OK; in laws, Jimmy and Patricia Taylor of Wapanucka, OK; nephew, Matthew Blackburn of Altus, OK; along with cousins and other relatives and many dear and loved friends.
Terry was preceded in death by his parents, Ofearl and Nora Louise (Wolfe) Blackburn; paternal grandparents, Carl and Addie Bell Blackburn; maternal grandparents, John and Mary  Wolfe.
