Terry James French, age 60, a Chandler, OK resident, was born on Thursday, March 2, 1961, to Harvie Lavon and Margaret Alene (Doherty) French, at Oklahoma City, OK. Terry passed away on Monday, September 13, 2021 at Oklahoma City, OK. He graduated from Rainier High School in Oregon in 1979. Terry was a Union electrician for IBEW, Local Union 1141. Terry proudly served his country in The Navy during the Granada War. He married Lisa Lynn (Wallin) on Friday, May 1st, 1981 at Rainier, OR. They celebrated 40 years of marriage before his passing. Terry was a member of IBEW LU 1141. He enjoyed fishing for catfish, spending time with family, adored his grandchildren, loved going to the Carl Albert High School games, watching his beautiful firstborn grandchild, Kylee, cheer/perform, also he looked forward to going to his grandson Christopher's football games. He was happy when his granddaughter Emma decided she wanted to be fishing buddies with him and stay out in the wee hours of the morning catfishing. Terry enjoyed watching the youngest, Ethan, flying in the glider, like to tinker around in the garage and he really liked to go to the casinos, yard sales, and swap meets.
Terry is survived by his wife, Lisa Lynn French of the home in Chandler, OK; children, Carl Edward French and wife Clarelaine of Oklahoma City, OK, Sandra Lynn French of Norman, OK, Sarah Irene Maselli and husband Christopher Dean of Midwest City, OK, Ethan James-Lavon French of the home in Chandler, OK; grandchildren, Kylee Pompeii Maselli, first born, beautiful, perfect, of Midwest City, OK, Emma Lynn French, the fighter, (born at just 3lbs 13 oz), his fishing buddy, of Norman, OK, Christopher Dean Maselli, youngest, the athlete, of Midwest City, OK; siblings, Danny Dwayne French and wife Teresa Lynn of Matlock, WA, Lavonda French of Oklahoma; nieces, Brandie, Tori, Kelly, Jennifer, Crystal, Tara, Tia; nephews, Jerry, Danny, Damian, Christian, Tyler, Travis; half sister, Coletta; along with cousins, other relatives and many dear friends.
Terry was preceded in death by his father, Harvie Lavon French; mother, Margaret Alene (Doherty) French Prater; brother, Glenn Ray French; his beloved German Shepherd, Jerry Lee.
