Terry Allen Gray, age 68, a lifelong Caney, OK area resident, was born on Tuesday, August 25, 1953, to Kenneth Royce and Frances Laverne (Stafford) Gray, at Oklahoma City, OK. Terry passed away on Saturday, July 2, 2022 at Oklahoma City, OK. He graduated from Caney High School in 1972. Terry was a welder, worked for Peabody, Eaves, Morris Cochran and for Kenco throughout the 70's, 80's and 90's. He was a member of Caney Freewill Baptist Church. Terry loved spending time with kids and grandkids, fishing, and a good poker game with friends and family. In his younger years he loved a good hot rod.
Terry is survived by the mother of his sons, Denise Johnson of McAlester, OK; sons, Michael Allen Gray and wife April of Oklahoma City, OK, James Wayne Gray and wife Jami of Atoka, OK; brothers, Kenny Lee Gray and wife Paulette of Chickasha, OK, Jimmy Wayne Gray and wife Ronda of Chickasha, OK, Jimmy Wayne Gray and wife Donna of Caney, OK; sisters, Phyllis Brister and husband Randy of Caney, OK, Anita Childers of Caney, OK, Freda Ladd and John Matlock of Caney, OK, Brenda Willeby and husband Chester of Caney, OK, Kari Barnes and husband William of Caney, OK; grandchildren, Jillian and Olivia Gray of Oklahoma City, OK, Aliyah, Gavin and Annah Gray of Atoka, OK, Ayden McCleary of Oklahoma City, OK; former wife, Cheryl Hall of Tushka, OK; extra sons, Cody McCleary, Cheyenne Robinson, Joey Morris, Derrick "Cheeto" Miller; special friend, Alicia Harper; step daughters, Erica Harper and Carlene Brown; step grandchildren, Terry Powell, Rowdy Floers, Jace Gregory, Rylie Trent; along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear and loved friends.
Terry was preceded in death by his father and stepmom, Kenneth Royce and Joyce Gray; mother and stepdad, Frances Laverne Gray and husband Kennith Wayne; brother, Danny Paul Hattenhouer; sister, Darla Goodson; brothers in law, Dale Ladd, Jesse Childers.
