Thelma Jean (Cornelison) Horath, age 84, a longtime Caddo, OK resident, was born on Wednesday, August 15, 1934, to Jesse Paul and Myrtle Ann (Killingsworth) Cornelison, at Woodville, CA. Thelma passed away on Sunday, August 11, 2019 at her home in Caddo, OK. She graduated from Woodville High School in California. Thelma was a homemaker and housewife. She married Billy T. Horath on Monday, October 25th, 1954 at Vicalia, CA. Theyenjoyed 48 years of marriage before his passing in 2002. Thelma was a member of Fillmore Missionary Baptist Church. She loved her Savior, cats, reading, painting, puzzles and loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Thelma is survived by her children, Kathy Pruitt and husband Mike of Caddo, OK, Michael Horath and wife Sondra of Caddo, OK, Darrel Horath and wife Laurie of Coleman, OK, Brenda Zachry and husband Donnie of Durant, OK; sister, Shirley Cornelison of Tulare, CA; grandchildren, Cody Johnson, Corey Johnson of Hobbs, NM, Michael Paul Horath, Jennifer Wilkie Brandy Sellers, all of Durant, OK, Steven Horath and wife Nicole, Sara Horath all of Coleman, OK, Trisha Amerson and husband Chris of Denison, TX, Ronee Simpson and husband Gary, Teri Brown all of Durant, OK, Paula Ragle and husband Jesse of Jones, OK; 16 great grandchildren, including, Beth Flowers, Sierra Flowers, Skye Waller, Miracle Brown, Kayla Ragle, Bryson Ragle, Preston Amerson; along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear and loved friends.
Thelma is preceded in death by her parents, Jesse Paul and Myrtle Ann (Killingsworth) Cornelison; husband, Billy T. Horath; brothers, John Cornelison, Charles Cornelison.
