Thelma Louise (Choat) Huddleston, age 94, a longtime Tushka, OK resident, was born on Thursday, November 6, 1924, to Hiram and Clearcy (Anderson) Choat, at Sherman, TX. Thelma passed away on Sunday, March 10, 2019 at Atoka, OK. She attended Bullard Chapel High School.
Thelma was a seamstress at Wrangler's where she retired.
She married Guy Huddleston on Saturday, August 2nd, 1941 at Madill, OK. They enjoyed 57 years of marriage before his passing on March 10, 1998. Thelma was a member of the Church of the Nazarene in Atoka for over 20 years where she was also secretary and treasurer. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, raising flowers, and loved her cats.
Thelma is survived by her sons, Bob Huddleston and wife Dreda of Wichita, KS, Allen Huddleston and wife Debra of Tushka, OK; grandchildren, Dwayne Huddleston of Calera, OK, Tina Young and husband Boyd of Denison, TX, Robert Huddleston and wife Cindy of Wichita, KS, Dede Standridge and husband Sean of Farris, OK, J.B. Pritchett and wife Apryl of Tulsa, OK; 11 great grandchildren; 6 great great grandchildren; along with other relatives and many dear and loved friends.
Thelma is preceded in death by her parents, Hiram and Clearcy (Anderson) Choat; husband, Guy Huddleston; brothers, Roy Choat, Troy Choat, Morgan Choat; sister, Mary Hornsby.
