Thomas Monroe Evans

Thomas Monroe Evans, age 85, a Caddo, OK resident was born on Wednesday, October 15, 1941, to Monroe and Virginia Yvonne (Hall) Evans, at Oklahoma City and passed away on Sunday, November 1, 2026 at Durant, OK.

Thomas graduated Tushka High School class of 1960 before studying plumbing, a family held tradition upheld his entire life. He owned T&C Plumbing for many years and spent some time working for Mechanical Services.

Thomas married Alvia Caleen (Nuttall) on Saturday, May 27th, 1961 at Tushka, OK and they spent 63 wonderful years together before her passing on September 15, 2024.

Thomas was of the baptist faith, attending Victory Life, and later Voca Baptist Church with his son. His main hobby was his work. He loved watching the kids and grandkids playing sports, following the grandchildren to any game he could attend, even the travel games. He cherished his wife and the time they spent together. He greatly enjoyed music.

Thomas is survived by his son Steve Evans and wife Cheryl of Caney, OK; daughter in law Edelyn Evans of Marysville, WA; grandchildren, Thomas Evans and wife Morgan of Coleman, OK, Hunter Evans of Voca, OK; sisters in law Geraldine Day of Plano, TX, Wanda Scatterfield of Voca, OK; great grandchildren Addison Evans, Daxton Evans; niece Stacy Fite; along with cousins, relatives, and many loved and dear friends.

Thomas is preceded in death by his parents Monroe and Virginia (Hall) Evans; son Monroe Scott Evans; and sister Sheila Norman.
