Obituary

Thomas "Tommy" Mack Jemison, age 74, a longtime Wapanucka, OK resident, was born on Wednesday, October 25, 1944, to James Marshall and Grady Irene (Evans) Jemison, at Ada, OK. Tommy passed away on Sunday, April 7, 2019 at his home in Wapanucka, OK. He graduated from El Paso, TX in 1962 and then attended OSU and ECU.
Tommy was a rancher and worked for 798 Pipeliners Union for 30 years. He married Linda Joy (Ogle) on May 28, 1971 at Coleman, OK. They have celebrated 47 years of marriage. Tommy was a member of Wapanucka Masonic Lodge #200 and the Oklahoma Cattlemen's Association. He enjoyed drinking coffee at Atoka Truck Stop, Watching turkeys, driving around the pasture, and most of all, being around his grandchildren.
Tommy is survived by his wife, Linda Joy Jemison of the home in Wapanucka, OK; son, James E. Jemison and wife Carlene of Wapanucka, OK; grandchildren, Marshall Jemison of Wapanucka, OK, Jessa Lyn Moore and husband Rusty of Boggy Depot, OK, Shane D. Jemison of Wapanucka, OK; great granddaughter, Hydee Moore of Boggy Depot, OK; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear and loved friends.
Tommy is preceded in death by his parents, James Marshall and Grady Irene (Evans) Jemison; sister, Linda Jemison Walkup Roberson.
