Thyren Cleveland Justus, age 74, a longtime Caney, OK resident, was born on Sunday, July 28, 1946, to Ernest and Lora (Newton) Justus, at Atoka, OK. Thyren passed away on Tuesday, October 6, 2020 at Oklahoma City, OK. He graduated from Atoka High School and also attended IBM school. Thyren was a route salesman for JC Potter and Borden Milk Company. Thyren proudly served his country in the Army during Vietnam War. He married Patricia (Alford) on Sunday, September 24th, 1967 at Durant, Oklahoma. Thyren was a member of Southside Baptist Church and the VFW. He loved to fish, watch the Dallas Cowboys, gather pecans and spending time with his family. Thyren was survived by his wife, Patricia Justus of the home in Caney, OK; daughter, Sharla Justus of Caney, OK; son, Clint Justus of Dallas, TX; brothers, Dward Justus and wife Helen of Harmony, OK, Hershal Justus and wife Jewel of Atoka, OK, Eljin Justus and wife Lois of Atoka, OK; sister, Levita Treas of Ada, OK; brother-in-law, Mack Alford Jr and wife Rebecca of Milburn, OK; sister-in-laws, Sandra Evans and husband Bennie of Tushka, OK, Bonnie Hall of Caney, OK, Mary Alford of Caney, OK. Along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and dear friends. Thyren was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Lora (Newton) Justus; brothers, Travis Justus, Herman Justus, David Justus, Everrette Justus; sister, Maretta Justus; sister-in-law, Linda Brown; brother-in-law, Mike Hall; father-in-law, Mack Alford; mother-in-law, Pauline Alford
