Thomas Virgil Figg, 62, of Wills Point, was born July 30, 1950, in Cincinnati, Ohio, the son of John Virgil Figg and Geneva Mary Sorrel Figg. He passed away Monday afternoon, February 25, 2013, at his home in Wills Point.He was raised in Cincinnati where he graduated from Elder High School. Thomas was a veteran of the United States Army, having served during Vietnam. He was in the military from 1968-1971. He later moved to Dallas. Thomas was employed at Mid States Vending in Dallas and was currently employed by Allied Barton Security in Rockwall. In 1982, he moved to Wills Point. On July 22, 1995, he married Marilyn McGinty at Lake Tawakoni. Thomas enjoyed spending time with his family especially his grandchildren. He was a member of the Lake Tawakoni VFW.
