Tommy Joe 'TJ' Sisson, age 91, a Atoka, OK resident, was born on Monday, October 3, 1932, to Ralph and Pearl Sisson, at Bentley, OK. TJ passed away on Thursday, February 15, 2024 at Atoka, OK. He attended Bentley Schools and Atoka High School. TJ was a Route Salesman for CocaCola where he retired after 30 plus years. TJ proudly served his country in The Army. He married Sylvia Stewart. TJ was a member of the 1st Assembly of God, he loved to fish and spend time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
He is survived by his sons, David Sisson and wife Laura of Aubrey, TX, Darryl Sisson and wife Becky of Atoka, OK; grandchildren, Brandon Sisson and wife Heather of Jacksboro, TX, Amanda Presley and husband Rocky of Keller, TX; great grandchildren, Reese Rix, Avery Sisson; great grandsons, Remy Rix, Maddox Sisson; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many dearly loved friends.
TJ was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Pearl Sisson; wife, Sylvia Sisson; siblings, R.L., Maisel, Marcell, Delbert
