Obituary Toney LeRoy Nichols Sr., age 86, a Wapanucka, OK resident, was born on Thursday, December 24, 1925, to Otis and Dora Mae (Gregory) Nichols, at Big Cedar, OK. Toney passed away on Tuesday, October 2, 2012 at Tishomingo, OK. He attended Wapanucka School. Toney was a Welder. Toney proudly served his country in U.S. Navy. He married Velma Christine (Bates) on April 8, 1944 at Wapanucka, OK. Toney a member of the full Gospel church in Wapanucka. Toney is survived by his children, Velma (Nichols) Harner and husband Bennie of Coleman, OK., Toney Nichols Jr. and wife Neva of Wapanucka, OK., Roy Doyle Nichols and wife Rhonda of Stringtown, OK.; sister, Orvizine Cleveland and husband Raymond of Wapanucka, OK.; grandchildren, Kevin Harner of Coleman, OK., Kenly Harner of Coleman, OK., Calvin Nichols and wife Paris of Raleigh, NC., Joey Nichols of Stringtown, OK., Karen Douglas of Olo, AR., Rita Roe of Williamsburg, VA., Kathy Prewitt and husband Bill of Wapanucka, OK., 14 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
