Travis "Butch" Odell Willeby, age 72, a longtime Caney, OK resident, was born on Sunday, July 3, 1949, to William and Stella Vernia (Overstreet) Willeby, at Lubbock, TX. Butch passed away on Saturday, August 7, 2021 at Caney, OK. He attended Tushka, Boggy Depot and Caney Public Schools. Butch was a road construction foreman. Butch proudly served his country in The United States Army. He married Evelyn Annette (Springer) on Friday, September 20th, 1974 at Sherman, Texas. They spent forty six wonderful years together. Butch was a member of the Caddo Church of Christ. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, trading and spending time with his family. Butch is survived by his wife, Evelyn Annette Willeby of the home in Caney, OK; daughters, Brandi Gregory and husband Shane of Caney, OK, Staci Sawyer and husband Jerry of Atoka, OK; son, Michael Harkey and wife Kim of Caney, OK; grandchildren, Tyler Fernandez and wife Kim, Kaydin Gregory, Kambree Gregory, Makiyah Gregory, Ryan Sawyer, Jessica Cook and husband Michael, Summer Harkey, Tara Harkey-Cook, Devin Harkey and wife Harley, Colton Cole and wife Kelsea, Krista King and husband Lance, Samantha Trease and husband Tyler, Chelsey Bair and husband Trevor, Patience Barger, Beth Barger; 16 great grandchildren; sisters, Billie Davis, Betty Daniel, Noel Gregory and husband Warren; brother, Chester Willeby and wife Brenda; brother-in-law, Clifford McIninch; faithful dog, Buster Odell Willeby; along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends. Butch was preceded in death by his parents, William and Stella Vernia (Overstreet) Willeby; brothers, DL Willeby, Wesley Willeby, Bob Willeby; sisters, Shirley Yates, Ruth Cook, Vennie Cook, Verlene Willeby, Sherlene Willeby, Darlene Crowell,Brenda McIninch, Sandy Willeby; son, Richard Harkey
