PASSED AWAY: Velma passed away on December 19, 2013 at Carney, OK. AGE: 80 years, 2 months and 14 days. EDUCATION: Velma was the Valedictorian for 1952 Tupelo class. She received her Bachelors Degree from East Central University in Ada in 1956.and received her Masters Degree from Northwestern University in Alva in 1965. OCCUPATION: Velma was a School Teacher for Tuttle for one year. She taught school in Sawyer & Skyline in Kansas for 11 years. And taught school in Tupleo for 26 years.
