OBITUARY

NAME: Vera Geraldine (Evans) Fritcher, age 83, a longtime Harmony resident, a lifelong Atoka and Coal County, OK resident.

BORN: She was born on Thursday, September 28, 1933, to Omar Carl and Dora (Stanfield) Evans, at Wewoka, OK.

PASSED AWAY: Vera passed away on Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at her residence in Lehigh, OK.

AGE:  83 years, 8 months and 17 days.

EDUCATION: She attended Lehigh School.

OCCUPATION: Vera worked at the Charcoal plant in Phillips, Tourist Cafe, then provider work for a number of years, 10 years at Wrangler and the last 10 years at Choctaw Casino in housekeeping.

MARRIED: She married Glenn Powell, then Willard Logsdon, later Eugene Stanley and then Landon Fritcher, all preceded her in death.

CHURCH AFFILIATION, HOBBIES AND OTHER AFFILIATIONS:  Vera was of the baptist faith. She loved attending the Coalgate Senior Center, going to the Casino, working at the Casino in Atoka and Stringtown, and her precious dogs Sissy and Wolfy. She liked hanging out and visiting with her friends at McDonald's.

GRANDCHILDREN:Shannon Flowers, Glenn Powell, Gary Powell, Jason Gibson, Cody Gibson, Trey Cullifer, Dale Powell, Justin Barnett, Shad Barnett, Dakota Powell, Kyle Stowe, Bradley Stowe, Casey Stowe, Candice Ott, Ryan Morrison, Brandon Morrison

along with 30 great grandchildren, numerous great great grandchildren, many dear and loved friends.
