Vera (Reed) Saunders Moore, age 65, a longtime Atoka, OK resident, was born on Monday, February 18, 1957, to Ernest and Estella (Reed) Reed, at Sherman, TX. Vera passed away on Wednesday, July 13, 2022 at Oklahoma City, OK. She graduated from Ector High School in Odessa, TX and later graduated from cosmetology school. Vera was a housewife and homemaker. She married Rick Moore on Thursday, November 9th, 2017 at Atoka, OK. Vera was a member of Stringtown Baptist Church. She enjoyed fishing, hunting, being outdoors, doing puzzles, supporting Ronald McDonald House and loved spending time with her family and friends.
Vera is survived by her husband, Rick Moore of the home in Atoka, OK; children, Kimberly Perez-Allen of Atoka, OK, James Patrick Allen of Atoka, OK, Shauna Miller of Atoka, OK; 25 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; sisters, Sharon Pride and husband Johnnie of Atoka, Ok, Julia Blaytock of Atoka, OK; uncle, Jimmy Vinson of Atoka, OK; dog companions, Tinker Bell Reed-Moore, Kobe Reed-Moore of the home in Atoka, OK; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends.
Vera was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Estella (Reed) Reed; brother, Michael Reed; son in law, Scott Miller; along with numerous aunts, uncles and other relatives.
