BORN: He was born on Tuesday, October 11, 1927, to Bill and Ollie (Nowlin) Britt, at Atoka, OK.

PASSED AWAY: Vernon passed away on Monday, March 21, 2016 at Coalgate, OK.

AGE: 88 years, 5 months and 10 days.

EDUCATION: He attended Tushka School.

OCCUPATION: Vernon was a Truck Driver.

MILITARY: Vernon proudly served his country in the Army during the Korean War.

MARRIED: He married Betty Lou (Noel) on Tuesday, February 22nd, 1977 at Atoka. She preceded him in death in January of 2000.

CHURCH AFFILIATION, HOBBIES AND OTHER AFFILIATIONS: Vernon was of the Baptist Faith. He enjoyed fishing, especially catfish and crappie, watching wrestling and playing dominoes.
