Vickie Kay (McGlocklin) Day, age 61, a Tishomingo, OK resident, was born on Wednesday, April 20, 1962, to Foy Eldon and Edna Pauline (Reed) McGlocklin, at Ardmore, OK. Vickie passed away on Tuesday, April 16, 2024 at Tishomingo, OK. She graduated from Tishomingo High School with the class of 1980 and went on to receive her nursing degree at Murray State College in 1983. Vickie was a registered nurse, she worked for Dr. Webb, Dr. Potter, and numerous home health services. She presently worked with FHCSO. She married Kevin Charles Day on Tuesday, January 29th, 1985 at Tishomingo, OK. Vickie was a Christian and a believer in God. She enjoyed loving her grand kids and her fur babies, painting, and was very artistic.
She is survived by her husband, Kevin Charles Day of Tishomingo, OK; mother, Pauline McGlocklin of Tishomingo, OK; children, Riley Day and wife Sarah of Trenton, TX, Nikki Pryor and husband Jordan of Tishomingo, OK; grandchildren, Brooke Day of Trenton, TX, Madi Pryor of Tishomingo, OK, John Pryor of Tishomingo, OK; sister, Pam Mason and husband Mike of Tishomingo, OK; niece, Keona Mason of Stillwater, OK; along with numerous other nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and thousands of friends and work colleagues.
Vickie was preceded in death by her father, Foy McGlocklin; brother, Lyndall McGlocklin; sister, Ladonna Pipkin; nephews, James McGlocklin and Robert Pipkin.
