Victor Vincin Fortenberry, age 74, an Atoka, OK resident, was born and raised on Coal Creek Rd near Atoka. He lived in Texas, California, and about 30 years in Topeka, KS. He was born on Monday, October 25, 1943, to Thomas Loyd and  Leona Lillian (Hanson) Fortenberry, at Atoka, OK. Vic passed away on Friday, January 26, 2018 at Durant, OK. He attended Atoka High School. Vic was a truck driver, carpenter and house mover. He owned Fortenberry House Moving some 40 years. Vic proudly served his country in The Oklahoma National Guard. Vic was of the Baptist faith. He was a member of the Elks Lodge in Atoka, German Descendant Club and enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Vic is survived by his children, Madonna Moore and David Ainsworth of Chockie, OK, Victor Fortenberry Jr. of Atoka, OK, Theresa McKinnon and husband Cliff of Tulsa, OK; the mother of his children, Dianne Dodd of Harrison, AR; longtime companion, Irmi Pryor of Topeka, KS; her children, Gisella Pryor of Topeka, KS, Gabrielle Bonzour of Topeka, KS, Guldrun Dehart of Topeka, KS; 12 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; brothers, Dale Fortenberry of Burlingame, KS, Curtis Fortenberry of Choctaw, OK, Bobby Fortenberry and wife Fay of Southern California, Vernon "Bulldog" Fortenberry of Atoka, OK, Delbert Fortenberry of Atoka, OK; sisters, Marlene Gabriel of Wards Chapel, OK, Pat Rector of Lane, OK; along with nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many dear friends.

Vic is preceded in death by his parents, Loyd and Leona Fortenberry; son, Michael Vincin Fortenberry; brothers, Thomas, Alva, Kenneth Fortenberry; sister, Winnie Lou Donihoo
