NAME: Virginia Joyce Clayton, age 91, a Tomball, TX resident, formerly a longtime Caney/Caddo resident.

BORN: She was born on Tuesday, June 9, 1925, to W.H. and Elois (Hubbard) Robinson, at Olney, TX.

PASSED AWAY: Joyce passed away on Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at Tomball, TX.

AGE: 91 years, 7 months and 22 days.

EDUCATION: She graduated from Olney High School.

OCCUPATION: Joyce was a woman of many talents, along with a busy life on a ranch, she was a homemaker, had worked at "Blue Bell" sewing factory and the selective service for five years. sewed for the public some, and was in extension homemakers club.

MARRIED: She married M.T. Clayton on April 14, 1944. He preceded her in death.

CHURCH AFFILIATION, HOBBIES AND OTHER AFFILIATIONS: Joyce was a member of the Mt. Carmel Baptist Church for many years and was a member of Lighthouse Baptist in Tomball for the last few years, since moving to Tomball, TX. She was 4-H leader for several years, president of W.M.U. several times, Sunday school teacher for years, also taught in V.B.S. and played the piano for church, which was her real love. She continued to play piano for the Assisted Living Home where she resided for the past eight years.
