Mary Virginia Lea (Mobbs) Haney, age 83, a McKinney, TX resident, was born on Sunday, October 9, 1938, to Jesse and Artie Lea (Jordan) Mobbs, at Atoka County, OK. Virginia passed away on Thursday, August 18, 2022 at Plano, TX. She graduated from Atoka High School in 1956. Virginia was a housewife. She married Jube Haney on Saturday, May 14th, 1983 at Dallas, TX. Virginia was of the Baptist faith, she enjoyed flowers, music, gardening, and scrap booking. Virginia especially enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
Virginia is survived by her husband, Jube Haney of McKinney, TX; daughter, Michelle Estep- Hoenig and husband Mark of Gainesville, TX; grandchildren, Matthew Dougherty, Joshua Estep, Kaylyn Estep, Mallory Estep, numerous great grandchildren; sister, Ruby Gammon and husband Troy of Bentley, OK; special friend, Belle Kelly of McKinney, TX; special childhood friend Nadine Hamilton, along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many dear friends
She was preceded by her first husband, Floyd Don Estep; parents, Jesse and Artie Lea (Jordan) Mobbs; son, Greg Estep; daughter, Jackie Hoenig; brother, Marion Mobbs; sister, Fern Collard
