BORN: She was born on December 20, 1944, to Pharmer and Marcella Jean (Mills) Townsend, at Lehigh, OK.

PASSED AWAY: Virginia passed away on February 16, 2017 at Lehigh, OK.

AGE: 72 years, 1 month and 27 days.

EDUCATION: She attended Coalgate High School, graduating as the Valedictorian of her class of 1963. She also attended East Central University

OCCUPATION: Virginia was an Owner/ Operator of the Coalgate Tag Agency for over 35 years.


CHURCH AFFILIATION, HOBBIES AND OTHER AFFILIATIONS: Virginia was a member of The First Baptist Church in Lehigh. She was a member of the International Order of the Rainbow, Order of the Eastern Star, BP & W. She was a founding member of the Coal County Miner's Museum. She enjoyed singing, playing the piano & guitar.
