Vivian Ruth Straw, age 78, a Wapanucka, OK resident, was born on Thursday, July 31, 1941, to Lewis and Vivian Ruth (Winberry) Straw, at Shawnee, OK. Vivian passed away on Thursday, June 11, 2020 at Norman, OK. She graduated from Wapanucka High School, attended Oklahoma University, Norman Vo-Tech and Wayne Vo-Tech. Vivian was in payroll and accounting at Westinghouse and York in Norman, OK, she also worked in reservations at Southwest Airlines in Oklahoma City, OK, and former Mayor of Wapanucka, OK.
She married Jackie Ray Johnson on Tuesday, December 27th, 1960 at Gainesville, TX, he preceded her in death. Vivian later married Fred Lee Thayer on May 9, 1986 at Sherman, TX, he preceded her in death. Vivian was a member of Church of Christ in Wapanucka, OK. She enjoyed watching OU Football, OKC Thunder Basketball, crocheting, her dogs and loved spending time with family and friends.
Vivian is survived by her son, Rolan Mark Johnson and wife Tami of Blanchard, OK; daughter,  Michelle Johnson Wren and husband Kelly of Norman, Ok; grandchildren, Colby Johnson and wife Megan of Dibble, OK, Cassie Miller and husband Drake of Mustang, OK, Bayleigh Foster and husband Orrin of Blanchard, OK, Shelby Roberts and husband JT Roberts of Oklahoma City, OK, McKenzie Marcum and husband Hunter of Oklahoma City, OK, Terrell Rush of Blanchard, OK, Will Rush of Wanette, OK, Wesley Rush of Wanette, OK, Adam Rush of Wayne, OK; great grandchildren, Jaedyn Goldsmith, Asher Miller, Destyn Miller, Arley Miller, Cais Johnson, Elea Johnson, Harlynn Foster, McKenzie Foster, Bradford Foster; sister, Nancy Bowerman and husband Larry of Dallas, TX; along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends.
Vivian was preceded in death by her parents, Lewis and Vivian Ruth (Winberry) Straw; husbands, Jackie Ray Johnson, Fred Lee Thayer; brother, Robert Lewis Straw.
