OBITUARY

NAME: Walter Scott Karr, age 85, a lifelong Atoka County, OK resident of Farris.

BORN: He was born on Saturday, September 20, 1930, to James and Rosie (Roberts) Karr, at Coleman, OK.

PASSED AWAY: Walter passed away on Friday, September 2, 2016 at Durant, OK.

AGE: 85 years, 11 months and 13 days.

EDUCATION: He attended Coleman School.

OCCUPATION: Walter was a residential and commercial carpenter, who worked on skyscrapers in Oklahoma City.

MILITARY: Walter proudly served his country in the Army during the Korean War.

CHURCH AFFILIATION, HOBBIES AND OTHER AFFILIATIONS: Walter was an active member of the Elks Lodge and VFW. He enjoyed dancing and loved horses.

LaWanda Anderson and husband Kelly of Tulsa, OK

Karen Burgess and friend Reggie Fielding of Farris, OK

SON:                      Lonny Karr of Oklahoma City, OK

BROTHER:                          Sonny Karr of Durant, OK

SISTERS:                              Pinkie Pamplin of Lawton, OK

Daphine Greeno of Excelsior Springs, MO

Along with numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
