Wanda Jewel Gregory, age 89, a lifelong Lane, OK resident. She was born on Monday, October 26, 1936, to William Thomas and Opal Bell (Lane) Peeler, at Lane, OK. Wanda passed away on Monday, January 5, 2026 at her home in Lane, OK surrounded by her loved ones. She attended Iron Stob School in her early years. Wanda was a sales clerk for Sharpe's over 28 years. She married Edward Dean Gregory on Wednesday, February 18th, 1953 at Reno, NV. They enjoyed over 71 years of marriage before her passing. Wanda enjoyed gardening, flowers, canning, and loved her time working at Sharpe's, visiting with customers, and loved  her grandchildren.
Wanda is survived by her husband, Edward Dean Gregory of the home in Lane, OK; sons, Darrell Gregory and wife Linda of Lane, OK, Gary Gregory of Lane, OK; daughter, Janet Rector and husband Mike of Lane, OK; grandchildren, Clint Rector and wife Margie of Lane, OK, Cassandra Riley and husband James of Lane, OK, Amanda Lawson and husband Clay of Caney, OK, Jeremy Gregory and wife Brandie of Lane, OK; great grandchildren, Alec Rector and wife Summer of Lane, OK, Meg Rector of Lane, OK, Elena Rector of Lane, OK, Tate Fritcher of Lane, OK, Natalie Fritcher and significant other Martin Albarado of Lane, OK, Tanner Gregory of Lane, OK, Eli Long of Lane, OK, Christian Riley and wife Bayle of Lane, OK, Alyssa Riley and significant other Thomas Campbell of Lane, OK, Bailey Riley of Caney, OK; great great grandchildren, Everliegh, Rosalynn, Ryfle, Ropelyn, Whitson; sisters, Leona Reese and husband Jerry of Tushka, OK, Joyce McDaniel and husband Phil of Atoka, OK, JoAnne Callicoat and significant other bobby Tidwell of Bentley, OK; brother, Henry Peeler and wife Marlene of Atoka, OK; along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear and loved friends.
Wanda was preceded in death by her parents, William Thomas and Opal Bell (Lane) Peeler; son, Thomas Ray Gregory; sisters, Iva Dean Burden and husband Ivory, Alpha Mae Mead and husband William; great grandson, Coll Micheal Rector; brother in law, Terry Lee Callicoat; nephews, Tommy Peeler, TJ Callicoat, Calvin Bennett.
