Wanda Lee Hall, age 97, a longtime Chico, CA resident formerly of Atoka, OK. She was born on Sunday, March 18, 1928, to Victor and Vesta (Stamps) Thompson, at Kansas City, MO. Wanda passed away on Friday, June 6, 2025 at her home in Chico, CA. She attended SOSU and graduated from Fresno State in California where she  received a Bachelor's Degree in Education. Wanda was a teacher in Fresno, CA for over 40 years. She married Billy Joe Hall on Monday, August 19th, 1946 at Ft. Smith, AR. They celebrated over 58 years of marriage before his passing on April 1, 2005. Wanda was a long time member of Church of Christ.
Wanda is survived by her daughter, Gloria Silva of Chico, CA; grandchildren, Jason Owens of Chico, CA, Amanda Shelton and husband Joshua of Chico, CA; great grandchildren, Ashley Shelton, Caden Shelton of Chico, CA; along with other relatives and many dear friends.
Wanda was preceded in death by her parents, Victor and Vesta Thompson; husband, Billy Joe Hall; brother, Carl Thompson.
