Wanda Faye (Smith) Harper, age 79, an Atoka, OK resident, was born on Thursday, August 19, 1943, to Omar G Smith and Nella Mae (Moon) Smith, at Sherman, TX. Wanda passed away on Friday, November 25, 2022 at Coalgate, OK. She attended school. Wanda was a cook at all of the local restaurants at one time and worked in nursing homes. She married Junior Harper, he preceded her in 1995. She married Walter Lee Bayles in 1982, he preceded her in death in March of 2014. Wanda was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and playing dominoes.
Wanda is survived by her children, Mary Ann Beratto of Atoka, OK, Mary Joyce Bayles of Atoka, OK, Jim Bayles of Coalgate, OK, Cecil Bayles of Coalgate, OK, Omar Bayles of Coalgate, OK; siblings, Michael Smith of Atoka, OK, Helen Perry and husband Jim of Madill, OK, Buddy Smith and wife Margie of Birthwright, TX, along with numerous grandchildren, nephews, nieces, and other dear and loved friends.
She was preceded by her parents, Omar G Smith and Nella Mae (Moon) Smith; husbands, Junior Harper, Walter Lee Bayles; son, Henry Bayles; siblings, Diane Perry, Jimmy Smith, Pam Key, Brenda Yarbrough, Loyd Ray Smith, Vera Inez Smith
